MERGING FLAG T-SHIRT
The Collection merges the US and Pan-African flags as a statement that being black and being American are one and the same. Since flags symbolize the union of governance, people and territory, the merging flags also prompt a conversation about the action required to dismantle oppression and the abuse of power. The words that appear to be growing out of the combined flags are action words, suggesting ways we can contribute to a new, more positive power distribution.
